Hand-blown on the island of Murano, the Tavolino Mercury Matte 40 is characterised by its dark grey tone and softly rounded volume. Formed in a single fluid motion, the piece preserves delicate shifts in colour and the internal movement traces created at the very moment the molten glass settled into form.
Its satin matte texture and sculptural curvature interact subtly with light, casting shifting refractions and quietly altering the atmosphere of the room. As with all Tavolini editions, each piece is inherently unique, shaped by the natural variations embedded within the glassblowing process.
