The Brand
Tavolini
Tavolini is devoted to a single form - the table - explored not as furniture, but as a sculptural object. As our name suggests, “tavolini” (Italian for “small tables”), we approach this everyday piece with a sense of purity, boldness, and contemporary refinement.
Minimalism and Murano glass converge in each design, creating works that feel both restrained and expressive. Tavolini carries a duality: one rooted in centuries-old Venetian glassmaking, the other shaped by modern energy and an effortless sense of cool.
Every piece embraces variation, the natural gradients, subtle asymmetries, and organic movement that emerge during the glassblowing process. With their clean silhouettes, saturated colours, and luminous depth, Tavolini tables function as functional artworks: objects that catch light, shift atmosphere, and bring a distinctive presence into space.
Forms of light
The Craft
At the heart of each Tavolini piece is a dialogue between material, movement, and light. When molten glass is gathered in Murano’s furnaces, it exists in constant motion - turning, expanding, and settling into its form in a single fluid gesture. This movement remains visible in every finished table: in the drifting colour gradients, delicate distortions, and internal currents frozen at the moment the glass cools.
Light becomes the final collaborator in the process. Each work refracts and softens illumination, casting shifting patterns across floors and walls. Transparency, colour, and depth interact to give the tables an atmospheric presence that evolves throughout the day.
This interplay of motion and luminosity forms the language of Tavolini: sculptural tables that speak through colour, shadow, and material nuance. The result is an object that transcends utility, existing as a quiet but powerful expression within any interior.
Editioned Works
Tavolini tables are produced in small, carefully controlled editions, each one shaped by hand in Murano. Natural variations in thickness, hue, and internal movement distinguish one piece from the next, making each table a singular work within its series.
New editions are released throughout the year, allowing the collection to evolve through subtle shifts in colour and form. This approach preserves the rarity of each design while ensuring every piece holds the integrity of a collectible object.
